Veolia Water Projects provides water and sewerage services to domestic and commercial customers in the Tidworth and Perham Down areas. As these areas fall within another supply area, the Water Services Regulation Authority (Ofwat) has granted Veolia a special license to provide these services. This is known as an inset appointment.

Inset appointments explained
The Water Industry Act 1991 includes legislation which makes it possible for sites within an existing water company's area to be served by another water company. Where an alternative water company is appointed, an inset appointment is made by Ofwat.
