Our municipal clients are regulated water and sewerage companies, as well as public sector organisations like Local Authorities, across the UK.

Services for Municipal Clients

We provide a fully bespoke service in relation to water supply and wastewater treatment, by combining one or more of the following to meet client requirements:

Operations and Maintenance

We ensure the smooth running of client assets, ranging from treatment works and pumping stations to underground networks.

Design and Build Solutions

We offer bespoke solutions for the treatment of water and wastewater from the installation of individual engineered solutions and packaged plants to complex design and build projects using several unique Veolia Water technologies.

Programme Management and Delivery

For projects and programmes - we use our know-how to ensure that our clients' capital investment plans are implemented efficiently and effectively. For example, we're part of Scottish Water Solutions, a joint venture company bringing together Scottish Water with delivery partners, delivering in excess of £450 million of Scottish Water's new Capital Investment Programme, which itself is one of the largest in the UK water industry at £2.5 Billion.

Biosolid Treatment, Disposal and Recycling

Through Veolia Water Organics Recycling, we help our clients minimise their carbon footprint through the treatment, disposal and recycling of biosolids.

Customer Service Provision

We take on responsibility for achieving our clients' Ofwat customer service targets, including meter readings, billing, responding to bill-related queries, cash collection, debt management and providing support to clients who have special needs.

Catchment

Our Catchment business operates in Scotland delivering wastewater services for over 500,000 people in Dundee, North East Scottish coast, Inverness and Fort William. It manages the delivery of three separate PFI contracts known as the Tay, Moray and Highland PFIs on behalf of the Client.

Through our Catchment business, we are a member of the Tay Estuary Forum. This is a voluntary, non-statutory Local Coastal Partnership, dedicated to promoting the wise and sustainable use of the Tay Estuary and adjacent coastline.
