Veolia Water is continuing work to replace water mains in central Wembley at the junction of Harrow Road, High Road and Wembley Hill Road.
Project Manager, Paul Mooney said: "We appreciate that this is a very busy area and we are doing everything we can to minimise disruption. Our priority is to get the work completed as quickly and safely as possible, therefore three-way traffic lights are in place until this section of the work is completed, which will be by 9 December.
"We would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding during this work and apologise for any delays experienced in their journeys. We are working closely with the London Borough of Brent Highways Department to ensure the work runs smoothly."
Veolia Water is investing £1.2m to replace 5 kilometres of water pipes in the Wembley area this year. Some of the water pipes in the area are more than 60 years old and are being replaced with durable plastic pipes to help reduce the chance of pipes cracking and bursting, which can cause unexpected interruptions to our customers' water supply.
