Veolia Water is committed to protecting the environment and encouraging biodiversity and is proud to sponsor the new book 152 Wild Things To Do, which encourages people to get out and enjoy nature and make the most of all the UK has to offer.
152 Wild Things To Do
The book is a handy almanac, created by the Wildlife Trusts, and is packed full of excellent ideas including one from Veolia Water's own Ellie Powers, who recommends letting nettles grow wild in the garden to attract beautiful butterflies.
A few months ago we ran a staff competition calling for ideas that could be published in the book and Ellie's entry was chosen as the winner.
Our sponsorship of 152 Wild Things To Do supports our company's commitment to the environment and biodiversity.
It also embodies our corporate values, including the preservation of natural resources and the need to educate and inspire people of all ages.
Our work includes encouraging customers to be water efficient and we offer loads of tips and ideas on ways to save water in the home, garden and community - click here to find out more and how to get a free copy of 152 Wild Things To Do.
