Veolia Water East

Veolia Water East provides 26 million litres of water a day to a population of 154,000 people.

The company supplies an area of 352 square kilometres across the Tendring Peninsula in north east Essex.

Veolia Water East is one of the top performers in the British water industry, reporting excellent service levels against Ofwat's performance standards, which all fall within the top categories. More than two thirds of customers are metered and this is the highest ratio for any water company in England and Wales. Metering is the fairest way to pay and helps customers monitor consumption, which reduces water wastage.

Educational Visits

As well as its environmental obligations, Veolia Water East recognises its responsibility to the community. The company is happy to explain what it does and hosts organised groups who are welcome to visit the treatment works at Horsley Cross or the Environmental Centre in Manningtree on appointment.
