Veolia Water's Environment and Education Centre

Veolia Water has an award-winning education team in the UK who run a large number of activities both at the purpose-built Environment and Education Centre in Hertfordshire and through a popular school-based outreach programme. The education programme is developed to assist teachers in the delivery of the National Curriculum or QCA Schemes of Work. The team also provides support for teachers on a number of topics including sustainable development and recycling, has links with local authorities and organises activities for customers.

In 2007, more than 16,000 children and adults from 364 schools participated in the water-related activities on offer. The Centre has had contact with over 140,000 people since 1998.
