Overarching the core mission of our parent group, Veolia Environnement, are the external and internal frameworks for developing the business in a sustainable manner. Veolia Environnement has published a set of values and charters for sustainable development and ethics, commitment and responsibility. A key function of the central organisation of Veolia Water UK is to weave these principles into the policies and programmes that we operate.
Veolia Environnement has published its Sustainable Development report covering the activities of the group worldwide. Sustainable development of the business is founded on a 10-point Sustainable Development Charter the principles and goals of sustainable development are translated into concrete actions around the world. The Charter's 10 commitments inform the development and implementation of Veolia Water UK's policies, procedures, goals and targets.
